This type of falling out is one of the most common and troublesome types of women and men alike, and it affects almost a third of men and a fair number of women, and it is a genetic hormonal disease.

The type that affects men and is known as male pattern baldness begins after puberty and the percentage increases with age and may reach 50% of men at the age of fifty, and hair falls from the front of the head and takes different levels that may include a large part of the head. As for the type that affects women, it is female pattern baldness, which is activated very little in youth, but it increases with age and after menopause due to hormonal disruption, and the hair appears thin in the foreground while maintaining the front line of hair, unlike men, where they lose the front hair completely.

Although the main cause of hair loss is not known, there are theories that are closer to reality and most scientists have agreed on their validity, which is to increase the male hormone (testosterone) or increase the sensitivity of hair follicles to this hormone even at its normal levels, and we can say that hereditary baldness is not a disease in the correct sense of the disease, but it is considered a difference. Normal results from the overlap of genes, age and hormones.

In order to treat the problem of hair loss and receding hair, which negatively affects the psyche of both men and women, the person must be prepared, educated, and aware that the treatment period may be prolonged, costly and require a lot of patience and follow-up.

The treatment methods are divided into several medical, surgical and cosmetic methods. Medical treatments include medications, topical preparations, plasma injection sessions, modern regenera technology, growth factors, meso, and nutritional supplement therapy.

Surgical methods include hair transplantation and baldness reduction surgery by cutting a portion of the scalp, as well as cosmetic procedures such as using covering powder or microblading to shade hairless areas.
