The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Armed Forces Hospital in Riyadh will organize next Sunday in the main lecture hall of the Entertainment Center the first international course in advanced skull base surgeries, for a period of four days, with the participation of a large number of Arab and European specialists. Dr. Haifa Al-Nasser, Head of the Ear, Nose and Throat Department at the hospital, explained that the course is an important medical and scientific event awaited by the medical community, and the first of its kind in the Middle East. For her part, Dr. Alia Shuja’ Al-Mutairi, head of the course and the scientific committee, stated that the topics of the course and the workshop include recent developments in skull base surgeries, laparoscopic surgery for skull base tumors, as well as oral lectures in the field of open and endoscopic skull base surgery.
