Saudi Arabia won the Complex Cardiac Catheterization Award, received by the Vice President of the Saudi Heart Association, Associate Professor at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, and the Cardiac and Catheter Consultant at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Ministry of National Guard, Dr.Mohammed Belghith Al-Barqi, during the International Conference on Cardiac Catheterization of Complex Cases The thirteenth, which was held in Vienna, Austria, recently under the supervision of the American Cardiac Catheterization Association and the Boston Scientific Company.
The conference witnessed the participation of a group of cardiac catheterization physicians from the countries of the Middle East, Asia and North Africa, as well as international jury committees from Britain, Austria and Scotland. Over the course of two days, catheter operations and complex disease cases were presented and discussed from all the participating countries, in addition to scientific and technical workshops in treating arterial and valve diseases, and four countries won awards in curative catheterization operations, which are the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.
