Associate Dr. Rashad bin Muhammad Al-Senussi, Professor of Psychiatry at Jazan University, participated in the psychological and social support sessions organized by the Beyond the Book team sponsored by the President of the University of Aden and supervised by the Deanship of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and the support of the I am a Doctor I Can Foundation, and the intervention was through the Zoom program entitled, Psychological Skills in Dealing with crises - Corona as a model

Al-Senussi said that every person is exposed to tension and pressures, regardless of their age, gender, educational or social level, and Corona is considered one of the most important causes of tension in this period, as many restrictions have been imposed on people to travel and travel, close schools and parks, and prevent gatherings and sitting in Public places, the danger of visiting hospitals and clinics, fear of illness or relapse, in addition to the social bullying that accompanied the emergence of the pandemic and the loss of confidence in government agencies and health facilities.

She also explained, during the intervention, the psychological skills in overcoming this crisis, such as relaxation, meditation, and exercise, as well as its positive aspects in activating the positive psychological forces such as patience, reassurance, optimism, contentment and calculation. He mentioned a number of negatives and positives left by the pandemic, in addition to the psychological skills to get rid of problems.
