Medical City is comparable to international medical centers in patient services
First Lady Esta Nabawa Tembo Longo, wife of the President of the Republic of Zambia, praised the medical developments and specialized care services provided by King Fahd Medical City to patients, noting that they are comparable to hospitals and advanced international medical centers.
She added during her visit and her accompanying delegation to the Medical City yesterday: During our visit to the Kingdom, we affirm the strengthening of the relationship between the two brotherly countries in the fields of health and the exchange of practical experiences in the hope of achieving the aspirations of the leadership of the two friendly countries, in addition to cooperation in health training programs.
Dr. Mazen Al-Suhaibani, Co-Executive Director of Medical Departments, gave an explanation on the model of the Medical City in which he talked about the history of the establishment of King Fahd Medical City, the hospitals and medical centers and their departments, providing an overview of the services provided by the city to patients in addition to the most prominent modern medical technologies that it includes, as the delegation listened. To the most prominent modern projects and plans that the city is working on, which will contribute significantly to the development and improvement of the services provided, and the development of competencies and working cadres.
After that, I toured the campus of the President of Zambia and the accompanying delegation accompanied by Dr. Mazen Al-Suhaibani, at some of the city centers, which included intensive care for children, intensive care for newborns, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Unit for Reproductive Medicine at the Women''s Specialized Hospital, during which they were briefed on the modern medical technologies that the city has to serve patients.
