The Directorate of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate intends to hold a conference on hereditary blood diseases (sickle cell anemia), targeting all segments of society.
The conference will be held on the morning of Wednesday 10/4/1437 AH in the conference hall of the Department of Training and Scholarships, with the presence of a group of lecturers in this field.
Dr. Saeed Muhammad Al-Amoudi, a consultant hematologist at King Abdulaziz Hospital and Oncology Center in Jeddah, and Dr. Abdullah Ahmad Maashi, Director of Laboratories and Blood Banks Department in Jizan Health, were attracted, and they will provide scientific lectures targeting health practitioners.
An awareness ceremony for this occasion will also be resumed in the evening, which includes several awareness materials at the Carnival Hall, under the supervision of the governor of Al-Qunfudhah, the Director of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah, heads of centers, directors of government departments, sheikhs and notables of Al-Qunfudhah Governorate. The spread of sickle cell anemia, and its elimination in the future - God Almighty willing.
