- Internship – was done in King Fahad General Hospital and MCH Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in Emergency, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pediatrics. This training was supervised by King Abdul-Aziz University Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
- King Saud Board in Hematology, 2nd November 2005 (Riyadh).
- Subspecialty program in stem cells transplantation, cord blood banking, and cellular therapies at King’s College Hospital – London (United kingdom), 2011.
Professional Experience
- I have worked 3 months in Red Sea Hospital in Rehabilitation Department.
- I have joined the Ministry of Health in1st, May 1998.
- I was posted in Primary Health Care for 18 months.
- I spend 10 months in Mini Clinic (for chronic disease).
- I have been accepted as a trainee in MRCPath. in Hematology via the training programs that are supervised and organized by Joint Board for Pathology in Saudi Arabia in liaison with the Royal College of Pathologist (london, U.K.). The training program started, October 1st, 1999 and take place in King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
- I spend two years in Hematology Department at King Abdulaziz University Hospital. Mostly in clinical aspects.
- I joined two years in Hematology department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital on 3rd of November 2001 in clinical, hematology lab and blood bank.
- I have been enrolled in King Saud University Board.
- I spend one year in King’s College London under supervision of Professor Ghulam Mufti, as part of King Saud Fellowship program in pathology (Hematology).
- I worked in King Fahd General Hospital for 3 years as Consultant Hematopathologist.
- I am the director of laboratories, blood banks and regional lab of Jeddah dist, 2008 up tp date.
- Member of teaching staff at Ibn Seena. Al batrji medical college.
Current work
- Consultant Hematology at King Abdul Aziz Hospital and Oncology Center.
