King Abdulaziz Hospital in Makkah has prepared an integrated plan to provide the best and finest health, treatment, medical, diagnostic and preventive services to citizens, residents and guests of the Holy House of God during the blessed month of Ramadan for this year 1442. It focuses on strengthening the full mechanical, human, medical, nursing and clinical energies in order to achieve the directives of our rational government - may God protect it - aimed To provide integrated medical services for pilgrims to be able to perform Umrah easily, safely and in line with the efforts made by the Ministry of Health, with the full support of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, to provide full care to all health sectors to provide more health services to those who go to the Sacred House of God.
And the director of the hospital, Dr. Ahed bin Ali Aqeel, indicated that the plan is based on scientific foundations and previous experiences by taking advantage of the reports of the past years, by strengthening the positives and avoiding observations while strengthening the necessary plans to deal with common diseases in the month of Ramadan, and given the current conditions that the country is going through with the Corona pandemic, it has been Focusing on applying the protocols of the Ministry of Health with regard to dealing with these cases, from receiving them in the emergency department to going out or being hospitalized, in order to achieve the directives of our rational government, may God protect it, aimed at providing integrated medical services.
For his part, the assistant director of the hospital for medical services, Dr. Ghazi Huldar, stated that the plan relied on redistributing the hospital workforce, with priority given to emergency and critical departments.
All departments will work around the clock, shifts every 6 hours a day
In addition to the preparation of 66 intensive care beds, as well as the preparation of departments dedicated to hypnotizing Corona cases, with a bed capacity of 85 beds, with the possibility of increasing the number of beds according to need, while continuing to be admitted to all medical specialties as usual.
In addition to the presence of isolation rooms
It has 15 rooms to isolate suspected cases of corona disease, in addition to equipping 5 operating rooms, in addition to operating the entire clinical capacity of the hospital, which amounts to 300 beds.
With the continuation of the work of specialized clinics until the end of the month of Ramadan, with additional clinics opening in the evening period
Work will also continue in Corona vaccination centers
Practitioners vaccination center, outpatient and inpatient center
He stressed that the hospital has completed all its preparations and equipped the departments with basic medical supplies and the necessary consumables to ensure that patients, with God''s help and success, can obtain optimal medical and health care.
