I was not born with a spoon of gold in my mouth. I am a self-made man and I love to challenge. The country had an exclusive meeting with one of the distinguished surgeons in the world of surgery, whom many of his colleagues dubbed the fingerprint and mark, and from here the country took the initiative to meet with some of the surgeon''s colleagues and friends who are symbols in the world of medicine in order to get to know more about the footprint. Professor / Sabah Musharraf (President of the Plastic Surgery Association in the Kingdom):

At the time I denounced me for being the first female surgeon at King Abdul Aziz University, Dr. Hassan Nasr was one of my strongest fans and he is the most distinguished teacher. His giving combines softness and intensity. He taught us how to give sincerely, his virtue is unforgettable.

Dr. Khalil Sindi (Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat)

He was our professor, then he became our colleague and now he is our sheikh ,, for me this mark gives me confidence and steadfastness to continue with excellence ,, is a title of generosity of morals.

His smile is among his features, he is a very respectful and polite colleague and brother, when you see him you feel the brightness of the day.

Professor / Hassan Abdul Jabbar (Consultant of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility Treatment):

I was a doctor of excellence when he was appointed as a consultant for surgery, he did not spare us his knowledge in the field of surgery and others, even he used to teach us the English language on how to make medical reports. Then we became colleagues and neighbors at work and even the operating room, working with him and next to him is very comfortable ,, Yes, colleague and neighbor ,, consider him my older brother.

As for those close to him, they said

Dr. Ikram Darwish (Specialist Dentistry)

My husband''s smile gives me energy. His donation amazes me as he is not waiting for anything in return.

Grandpa is very compassionate and I am not afraid of him, nor will my request be rejected.

Dr. "Hassan Nasr" in an interview for the country

Tell us about your career?

After preparing for a fellowship and a research group that I submitted to the university, I was granted a position as a consultant assistant at the University of Manchester and this is a precedent because it is only granted to the British at that time, so I worked there for five years.

After that, King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced its need for professors in the College of Medicine, so I submitted and was accepted ,,,

At that time, we were a small group of professors who founded the Faculty of Medicine, as all the professors present at the university now were our students.

My journey at King Abdulaziz University was full of challenges that added a lot to my professional life.

Then I moved to several private hospitals in Jeddah, including Bakhsh Hospital and United Doctors Hospital, and finally I owned a private clinic in Al Mashfa Hospital ,,, and Saudi citizenship was granted twenty years ago ...

One of your students, Professor Hassan Abdel Jabbar, mentioned to us that you were one of the rare doctors who performed gallbladder operation with a small opening not exceeding 2 cm before using endoscopes in operations, which made many patients look for you at that time.

Want to know more about her specialization as a surgeon?

As I mentioned earlier, the period I worked at King Abdulaziz University was very wealthy. It added a lot of experience to me and I enjoyed it with kinds of challenges in surgery that made me a surgeon with huge potential. As we used to perform very many surgeries inside and outside the scope of general surgery, because at that time there were no subspecialties in the surgery department that pushed us to carry out very huge operations that only work in specialized centers, including:

Pediatric urology surgeries.

Operations of bleeding esophageal varices.

Liver cirrhosis operations.

Resection of malignant tumors.

Congenital anomalies surgery of the anus and rectum for children.

Esophageal fistula operations for premature infants.

And many chest operations.

Even one of these operations was reported by foreign newspapers at the time

In addition, I obtained a patent from Canada in one of my operations, which is

(Folding the rectum over hemorrhoids) ....

Recently and specifically in the previous ten years I specialized in anal and rectal surgery, and my surgeries were limited to it

Why did I turn to this major?

I went to this major after doing a lot of research that helped me make my decision, and to return to the classroom in America and Britain.

However, most residents of Saudi Arabia suffer from anal and rectal problems, based on some of what I have done.

In addition to the fact that the medical arena is filled with a number of distinguished people in general surgery ,, and that many of them avoid performing anal and rectal operations, especially high anal fistulas ,,

So I stopped working in general surgery and specialized in anal and rectal surgery ,,,

This is what motivated me to develop my method of surgery and to use the highest technologies in it and continuously in line with the technology era.

Patients always think that the doctor has a magic wand and that he is never wrong. What do you say about this?

It is not true because we are human beings and we make mistakes and share, each of us has its own setbacks ,,,, but from the grace of God to me that my mistakes or complications that result from my operations, if you will, are very few, praise be to God.

What are the side effects of anal-rectal operations?

Side effects may occur in any client, not in all cases, of course.

As swollen and internal hemorrhoids occupy a large area of the anal area, so the muscle adapts to this expansion, and after removing the hemorrhoids, the area becomes empty ,,, but from the grace of God Almighty and what distinguished His creation, this matter is temporary because the muscle returns to its normal position one more time .

Words that Professor Al-Jarrah / Hassan Nasr concludes ...

I wish we could smile for life, as it is a gift from God. We cannot praise him for what he is qualified for, so let us stick to the smile. Thank him, glory be to him ......

Although the defiant trait puts the natural person under constant pressure, our guest enjoyed it. As it was the motivation for him to continue and succeed, so his remarkable smile remained with him throughout the meeting, and it was the same one that his friends and relatives loved, and his smile really provides energy to those around him ,,, congratulations to him.
